India’s cheapest Workstation: RDP ThinBook laptop released for Rs. 9,999

The budget segment of Tech India market is reinforced with the launch of India’s most affordable laptop “RDP ThinBook”. The owner firm, RDC claims this 14-inch workstation as the cheapest laptop of India as it is available for Rs. 9,999 only. Powered by Intel Atom and runs on Windows 10 OS, RDP ThinBook starts rolling out in Indian stores from today.

As seen, this ultra-modern workstation is developed with the techno-fusion of Intel and Microsoft and is outlined to address entry-level laptop users more. KT Rama Rao, the IT minister of Telangana, in the presence of Country General Manager of Microsoft, Mr. Priyadarshi Mohapatra and Anand Ramamoorthy, Director – consumption sales of Intel wrapped off this laptop in the inauguration event.

The Managing Director and Founder of RDP Workstations Pvt. Ltd, Mr. Vikram Redlapalli was also presented in the event. During the press meet, he said that the company has planned to make a transaction of 30,000 to 40,000 devices in the current financial year. He also announced that, despite the low cost, no compromises are made with the design, features, and functionality of this entry-level laptop. One can use RDP ThinBook for all the major applications and education purpose. Soon the company will introduce an advanced and upgraded version of this budget laptop, further added by Mr. Vikram.

Specifications of RDP ThinBook

The weight of this budget laptop is 1.4 kg, and it is powered by Intel Atom x5-Z8300 Processor and runs on Windows 10. The memory part of the workstation I geared up with 2GB RAM and 32GB ROM which is further expandable up to 128GB. The laptop also features a powerful 10,000mAh Li-Polymer battery which gives 8.5 hours power backup to the device. The market cost of this laptop is Rs. 9, 999 only.
