iBall Slide Brace-X1 4G tablet launched in India at Rs. 17,499

The domestic brand iBall has unveiled 4G variant of its Slide Brace-X1 tablet in India. The company has announced that the iBall Slide Brace-X1 4G tablet will be available for sale at Rs. 17,499 in only Gold colour option at all the major local and online retail stores. The USP of the tablet is its sound as it includes a dual chambered speakers, which is claimed by the company to deliver a “theatrical experience”.

With a price tag of Rs. 17,999, the iBall Slide Brace-X1 non-4G tablet was launched in February this year with almost similar design, however, it differs with the 4G variant in terms of specs. The 4G supportable tablet also comes with improved camera and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box.

On software front, the tablet comes pre-loaded with several GameLoft games like Asphalt Nitro, Bubble Bash 3, Midnight Pool, Modern Combat 4 Zero Hour, and Spider-Ultimate Power as well. The iBall Slide Brace-X1 21 read and write regional languages support. There are many utility apps also pre-installed on the tablet which include Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint apps, and various utility apps such as Facebook, Saavn, and WhatsApp.

Same as the previous model, the new Slide Brace-X1 4G also features a kickstand for propping it up on a table anywhere, and a 10.1-inch (1280×800 pixels) capacitive multi-touch IPS display. The device is powered by a 1.3GHz octa-core ARM Cortex-A53 processor, which is bundled with 2GB of RAM and MaliT720 GPU. For storage purposes, iBall offers an expandable storage of 16GB to the tablet which could be extended up to 64GB via a microSD card.

As the tablet comes with a whopping display, the company has packed it with a gigantic battery of 7800 mAh, which is rated to deliver a full day backup on a single charge. As far photography is concerned, the iBall Slide Brace-X1 4G sports an 8-megapixel auto focus primary camera with LED flash at its rear, and a 5-megapixel of secondary camera, which is placed up front.

The handset comes with various connectivity options such as 4G, VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Micro-USB, GPS/ A-GPS, and OTG support.
