Hyundai is going to launch its all-new sedan for this year in India on 24th October. Named as ‘Hyundai Tucson,’ this much-awaited SUV of Hyundai is slated to hit the market in the last week of October, while the company commenced the pre-orders for this new Sports Utility Vehicle. A month ahead of its official launch in the market, the South Korean Auto giant has kicked off the advance booking of his new ultra-modern SUV at a down payment of Rs. 25, 000 in India.
While the official launch price of the much-awaited Tucson is still undisclosed by the company, it is expected to clock between the price ranges of Rs 15 lakh to Rs 22 lakh. In the engine part, the new Tucson will be powered by a 2.0-litre CRDi diesel engine which is mated with two states of tunes like135bhp and 180bhp. However, the integration of any six-speed manual or automatic transmission in the new SUV is still uncertain. The official shipment of the new Tucson is expected to go live in India from November.
In designing and outlining part, Hyundai Tucson features Fluidic 2.0 design technology which was previously found in Hyundai Elantra. In terms of interior part, the Tucson will be equipped with a touchscreen infotainment structure accompanied by Bluetooth connectivity and dual-tone upholstery, which will facilitate drivers with a more convenient functionality and comfortable driving.
Coming to the second segment of Hyundai, HMIL introduced its new SUV model – Creta back n July 2015, and since then, the SUV has bagged a lot of sale and praise for its innovative creation, classy designing, and lavishing look. Now Creta is considered as one of the top selling SUVs in India while the average sale rate of the sedan is around 7,000 units per month. In July 2016, at the precious occasion of Creta completing its one year in the Indian market, Hyundai launched its 4×4 form in India with some new add-ons and modification.
By the end of August, this year, around 95, 000 units of Creta 4×4 versions has sold out, and this impressive growth has influenced Hyundai to introduce this model in one of the world’s largest automotive market – India. The extending demands for Creta in India have prompted the Hyundai to hike the production of the Creta by up to 25% in the country. However, now the car makers of Creta 4×4 SUV believes that there is not that much demand for the model in the country. According to a spokesperson of Hyundai, when the car was new, we received lots of inquiries for 4WD variant, but now there are no such investigations and it clearly shows the demand or this model dropped in the country and there is no reason to bring a 4WD variant of this model to India.

The new two engine models of Hyundai Carlino sub-4m SUV are designed in Namyang, South Korea, are delivering far different and classy look in comparison to the latest sedans of Hyundai that share a familiar design with other Hyundai models.
Though the company didn’t announce any particular date for the launch of new compact designed SUVs in Auto Expo 2016, yet the reports are sourced about their release in 2018. As per the source, the Hyundai Carlino will be accessible in two engine variants. One will come accompanying the Hyundai i20’s 1.0-litre T-GDi petrol engine, and another will emerge with an 1.4-litre CRDi diesel engine. Both models are reported to hit the automobile marketplace in 2018, yet lack any particular date.
