As expected. Huawei is all set to launch its two latest smartphones in the first week of November. Ahead of their official introduction on 3rd November, Huawei published a teaser of both high-end smartphones called ‘Mate 9 and Mate 9 Pro’. On 3rd November, Huawei at its official event in China is expected to bring forward the long-rumoured Mate 9 and Mate 9 Pro and has started sending media invitations for the same.
Though the media invitation letter doesn’t have the apparent reveal of Mate 9 and Mate 9 Pro, the teaser has some hidden indications about the launch. Regarding specs, both Mate 9 and Mate 9 Pro are almost same and thanks to the numerous leaks that we now have every bit if detail about both smartphones. Mate 9 Pro is nearly identical to Mate 9 except the dual-curved edge screen and the Quad HD resolution display.
Both Huawei Mate 9 and Mate 9 Pro are rumoured to feature 5.9-inch Full HD screen which will be powered by 1920 x 1080 resolution and Neo-IPS LCD. Huawei’s own Kirin 960 octa-core chipset paired with 4GB and 6GB of RAM for multi-tasking are expected to arrive with the approaching Mate 9 and Mate 9 Pro. In addition to this, the smartphones are supposed to be presented in three storage variants like 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB.
On the software section, both Mate 9 Pro and Mate 9 are expected to run on Android Nougat 7.0 out-of-the-box alongside advanced fingerprint scanner. In the colour front, both mobiles are supposed to go live with five shading variants like White, Gold, Graphite, Brown, Pink, and Black.
In optical part, both phones are expected to sport dual-camera setup. As per the recently launched teaser, Mate 9 Pro and Mate 9 are packed with a dual-camera configuration in the rear accompanying 20 megapixels snappers, while the front optics is expected to be 8-megapixel for both devices.
