After the launch of the Mate 9, Huawei has unveiled the premium version of the of the smartphone- the Huawei Mate 9 Pro. Currently, the Mate 9 Pro with the upgraded specification has been unveiled in China.
Android Headlines reported the launch of the dual-SIM Mate 9 Pro with a 5.5-inch QHD curved AMOLED display and 1440 x 2560 pixel resolution. The Mate 9 Pro is reported to run on the Huawei’s own Emotion UI 5.0 on top of Android 7.0 Nougat.
The Mate 9 Pro is powered by a 2.5GHz octa-core Kirin 960 processor. The smartphone inbuilt storage options are 64GB and 128GB, while the memory options of the Mate 9 Pro are of 4GB and 6GB RAM.
The Huawei Mate 9 Pro comes with a dual-camera setup at the rear with a 12 MP RGB sensors, Leica lens and a 20 MP monochrome lens along with a dual-tone LED flash. The front camera of the smartphone is of 8 Megapixel with optical image stabilisation capability.
The Mate 9 Pro is backed by a huge 4000mAh battery. The connectivity options of the Huawei includes WiFi, GPS, and Bluetooth. The smartphone comes in Space Gray, Ceramic White, Champagne Gold, Mocha Brown, and Moonlight Silver colour variants.
Measuring 152x75x7.5mm, the Huawei Mate 9 Pro also has a fingerprint scanner on the back for security purposes. The pricing of the Huawei Mate 9 Pro is on the basis of its memory. The 6GB variant is priced at CNY 5,299 (roughly Rs. 52,500) and the 4GB Mate 9 Pro is available at CNY 4,699 (roughly Rs. 46,500).
