Soon after launching the Huawei Honor 6X , the comapny has unveiled its Honor Pad 2 tablet and Honor Watch S1 smartwatch, in the event held in China. The tablet Honor Pad 2 comes in three bundles – 16GB Wi-Fi only variant priced at CNY 999 (approx. Rs. 9,900), 32GB Wi-Fi only variant priced at CNY 1,299 (approx. Rs. 12,900) and 32GB 4G variant at CNY 1,499 (roughly Rs. 14,800). It comes in Gold and White colour variants.
Besides, the smartwatch, Honor Watch S1 is available in three color straps – Black, Blue and Orange with a price tag of CNY 699 (approx. Rs. 6,900).
Coming to the specs of Honor Pad 2, the tablet is featured with an 8-inch full-HD (1200×1920 pixels) IPS display and comes powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 616 processor paired with 3GB RAM. Honor Pad 2 also sports an 8MP primary camera with LED flash and a 2MP selfie camera at the front.
It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and includes connectivity options like 4G LTE (with voice-calling functionality), Wi-Fi b/g/n, GPS, and Bluetooth 4.1. It is backed by a 4,800mAh battery.
Honor Watch S1 is a smartwatch that have ability to check user’s health as it features an inbuilt heart rate sensor and flaunts circular dial. The watch packs with interchangeable straps and offers battery charge up to 6 days. The company said that the smartwatch have capability to resist water up to 50 metres.
Both of the smart devices are available for pre-orders from October 19, 2016 and shipping will commence from October 25 in China. As similar to Honor 6X, both these devices have been only rolled out for China. However, no further announcement has been made regarding the launch in the other countries.
