Honda Activa 4G

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has announced the launch of Honda Activa 4G that has a price tag of Rs. 50,730 and comes laden with a variety of cool new features. The New active 4G automatic scooter has an upgraded 110cc four-stroke engine and is now BS-VI compliant.

With over 58 percent of market share in the automatic scooter segment, Activa 4G is all set to throw a tough challenge to its competitors in this arena. The new Activa has an air cooled engine that is capable of churning out an 8 BPH at 7500 rpm, which is quite impressive for the two-wheeler its size and capabilities. The Automatic headlamp On (AHO) is another tweak that has been made to the Activa that intends to improve upon the visibility and safety factor of the swanky new ride. Honda has made additional changes to the design of the body by bringing in more sturdiness and more under seat storage space. One of the features, as detailed by Y.S. Guleria, Senior VP Sales and marketing, HMSI which stands out is the facility for mobile charging socket. This particular feature was added by some of the competing brands and now is a part of the fourth generation Activa.

The new Activa 4G comes in seven different color options including Matt Selene Silver, Matt Axis Grey Metallic, Trance Blue Metallic, Imperial Red Metallic, Black, Pearl and Majestic Brown Metallic. This has been quite a significant change as in the previous versions of Activa not so many options were available.

It is worth a mention that as the automatic scooter market segment heats up with each passing day, HMSI has held its ground by being the world’s number 1 two-wheeler selling company in 2016.

  • Clearly a PAID review… Shame !! Wording in the beginning such as “laden with a variety of cool new features.” and barely any features listed in the full review just proves the point of this being a paid review.
