Hero has always been a pioneering player in the field of a motorcycle in India. Since 1989, the company has maintained the rank of the largest motorcycle manufacturing company in India. With 46% market share in India, Hero is counted as the best and top running bike company in India. But now it seems that the company is planning something forceful to acquire the most strong position in the Indian marketplace. Keeping an eye on premium market expansion in India, Hero has launched its new premium bike named as ‘Hero Achiever 150’.

Hero Achiever 150 is ultimately intended to strengthen the root of the company in the premium market segment in India. Since months, Hero was planning to implement a new go-to-market strategy for creating a stronger presence in the Indian premium market, and Hero Achiever 150 is the perfect strategy for the organization to reinforce its image in the market.

While wrapping off curtain from the all-new exclusive Hero Achiever 150, Hero Moto Corp Chairman-cum-MD and the CEO, Mr. Pawan Munjal addressed to the media by saying that:  “The launch of the new Achiever 150 is a reiteration of our strong focus on developing new, technologically superior and youthful products across segments for our customers in India and across the globe”.

Tagged with starting price of Rs.61, 800, Hero Archive 150 entirely aims at expanding the charisma in the quality segment of motorcycles in India. Mr. Munjal also said that Hero already had attained the crown position in the domestic market section in both 100cc and 125cc divisions, now the company will ultimately focus on reaching the top position in the production of premium bikes in India.

As per the ex-showroom price of Delhi, the drum-brake variation of the bike is tagged with Rs.61, 800; the disc brakes variant will cost Rs 62,800. Hero MotoCorp, which already is ruling over the 100 cc and 125 cc fragments with around 65% and 55% of the market share separately, now its focus has shifted to deliver more models to the premium market of India.

Design and Features of Hero Achiever 150

The Hero Achiever 150 is fueled by a BS-IV-compliant 150 cc TOD (Torque on Demand) motor, which creates a force yield of 13.6 ps (10 kW) @ 8,000 rpm, and the greatest torque of 12.8 Nm @ 5,000 rpm. The motor additionally gloats of Hero’s class-driving i3S innovation and backings the Automatic Headlamp On (AHO) highlight, which make it more premium and exclusive. Apart from this, the engine of Hero’s new bike features a 5-speed gearbox and packed Ideal Start-Stop System for driving superior fuel competence.

From Today, Hero Achiever 150 will go on sale in India with an upgraded 150cc engine and new styling designs. However, the way of driving sale won’t be much easier for the new bike as it will go on sale in the market aligned with other models like Bajaj V15 and Honda CB Unicorn.
