Microsoft reportedly announced that its ‘Xbox Game Store’ has listed ‘Halo 5: Guardians’ and ‘Forza Motorsport 6’ with a price tag of Rs. 4,490 and Rs. 4,290, respectively for pre-orders. The release date, earlier announced for Halo 5 is October 27, 2015, meanwhile the same for Forza 6 is September 15, 2015.
In addition, the firm further announced that Microsoft exclusive ‘Rise of Tomb Rider’ is going to be released on November 10, 2015 for Xbox One and Xbox 360, which is currently not available for pre-orders.
However, the PS4 lovers will have to wait till late 2016 as ‘The Know’ reported that it got a document from the trusted source. The document suggests that Rise of the Tomb Raider will be published by Square Enix for the PS4 in Q4 2016
“Every game has its individual pricing. This is an estimated retail price for Halo 5,” a representative from Microsoft explained. However, it is discovered that Microsoft’s hotly anticipated first-person shooters have the abnormally high pre-order price.
Meanwhile, it is an odd considering that they are uniformly priced on Amazon through its merchant handle, Cloudtail. It also begs the question, what if the “estimated price” drops after someone pre-orders?
According to the Amazon’s last year sales, the prices had been reducing drastically reduced after few weeks of launch. So if you own an Xbox One and looking to enjoy these games and want to save some buck, it’s better off waiting.
