Guardians of the Galaxy: 2 storyline complete

Guardians of the Galaxy fans can finally start with their excitement, for Director James Gunn has just revealed that the storyline for the film’s sequel is now complete the shooting for which, will begin in February 2016. Guardians of the Galaxy was a huge hit for Marvel and managed to collect unexpectedly high earnings of $774 million worldwide.

Guardians of the Galaxy is the story of space adventurer Peter Quill (Chris Pratt) and his four disparate misfits: gun-toting Rocket Raccoon, treelike-humanoid Groot (our favorite character on the team, we root for Groot), enigmatic Gamora, and vengeance-driven Drax the Destroyer. All of them own a secret they need to hide and a mission to complete. But when they discover that the whole universe is in danger, they keep aside their selfish motives and become a team that can save the day.

The cliffhanger of the film had been the identity of Star-Lord’s father, who was Peter Quill’s father and what made him so special that Peter survived holding the orb, for the amount of time he held it and still survived. The film explained that the reason for Peter being able to hold the orb was that he had an ancient element in his DNA, supposedly his father. Then there have been various instances where his father’s topic has been raised.

We may have some speculations that maybe, just maybe the reason for it was that we’ll be discovering that secret in the second installment of the film.

Apart from that, the news also has it that doctor who starrer Karen Gillian, (the alien villain Nebula and adopted daughter of Thanos) will also be a part of the film and hopefully she’ll get to keep her hair on the head this time. The location for the sequel’s shoot has been moved away from London to Pinewood Atlanta Studios.

We all are very excited for the part 2 of the Marvel’s franchise of superhero series that we can barely keep it in ourselves to wait for the sequel. Hope, we are all in this together.
