Google has now rolled out the Android 5.1 Lollipop update for all of the Nexus devices in India. The next version of the Lollipop has now arrived for the Nexus devices with several improvements and new features. The Internet giant has now released the OTA update for the Nexus devices in India.
The new Lollipop has no issues in the connectivity, Wi-Fi, LTE and Bluetooth work flawlessly with it. However, users can experience few reboots after the installation, but one thing Google has worked in the Lollipop 5.1 is the improved battery life. Users can now experience the improved battery life in the new Android 5.1 update.
The OS so far is working fine, however, several reports emerging around the world suggest that the update is still not able to help the OS from not crashing the apps, as Facebook, Twitter and few other apps often crash, which can be very annoying for the users.

According to the TeCake technical staff, the smartphone users could manually check for an update by simply visiting Settings > About Phone > System updates. It is recommended to the users that they should keep the battery charged more than 30 percent, before updating the device software.
Recently, Android One devices like Micromax Canvas A1, Karbonn Sparkle V and Spice UNO users reported that they are getting an update to Android 5.1 Lollipop for their smartphones. Moreover, the OTA (over-the-air) update to these devices will be 410 MB in size.
