Google I/O 15 tecake

Google annual developer conference Google I/O has been scheduled to happen on May 28th and 29th this year in the San Francisco. Registration for this annual developer conference will commence on 9AM PDT March 17 and will continue till March 19 5pm EDT, however, reports suggest that getting into Google I/O this year will be all about luck.

Google I/O venue has been decided as the Moscone Center West in San Francisco. There is no speculation about what to expect this year, however, the Internet giant is apparently going to reveal new technologies in a context of the auto industry. Reports suggest that the Internet giant is working on Android Auto, and we can expect Android TV to come out too.

Project Ara, the modular smartphone, is also going to be in the prime focus of the Google I/O. Even though Ara isn’t a mystery anymore, the Internet giant is expected to announce some significant enhancements to it. We can expect some more modules or let’s just say a new design.

Another concern that might just stay in the Google I/O’s spotlight is Google Glass. A few days ago, the Internet giant brought the sales of Google Glass Explorer edition to a halt and stated that the company is working on a new design and will resurface it very soon. There are chances that I/O is just the event for a revamped Glass.

Other announcements can include a new Android version and more. The company can also lay some focus on introducing new wearable technologies or next-gen Android Wear.

While we wait for the Google I/O to be in action, the Internet giant is allowing to take a look at the experiment featuring WebGL and Web Audio APIs. The test allows you to make different sounds using various methods, including strings and bars, available at the Google I/O website.
