Google assistant that was available just for Pixel and Pixel XL will make its way to Nexus too that is Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P in the update which still has quite a time to come, according to the tweet made by Stephen Hall of 9to5 Google.

Google Assistant is based on Google Now with expanded Ok Google features, it will not be included in the 7.1.2 Android version for Nexus 6P/5s but for Android 8. According to the rumour, it still has a long way to be seen on those phones.

Recently, Swipe for Notifications feature of Pixel phones is also introduced in Nexus with 7.1.2 realise, in this the notification bar can be pulled down by swiping down motion on device’s fingerprint scanner, this feature has been introduced due to great public demand as users were disappointed that their phone did not have it. They will have to go on settings and then move to set up this feature.

Features like different live wallpapers for the home screen and lock screen are also available in it. Earlier both screens used to have same wallpapers, now users can choose different wallpapers, both still, both live, one live one still and vice-versa.

However, the premium device, Google Assistant is good in understanding the context; users will have to pay a great price to use it. Maybe, it is a way of Google to make the Assistant work more by introducing it in the old devices. Pixels will be benefited, and its demand will increase in the market with it.

Along with it, various other devices are also expected to be seen with Google Assistant, such as Android T.V, Android 2.0 smart watches, L.G’s G6 phones. If so, the announcement could be made by February 6 about these and various other devices receiving this service.
