Gionee, the Chinese Smartphone Conglomerate is gearing up to introduce its upcoming smartphone “Gionee S9” on 15th November. However, before four days of its launch, the parental company has published a new teaser, revealing some major components and specifications of the approaching smartphone which also includes a front-facing flash. Alongside the official teaser, some Live Images of Gionee also went viral on the internet, which suggest the phone to feature a dual camera configuration.
Yesterday, two live images of the upcoming Gionee S9 have gone live on the internet, revealing the S9 to feature a full metal design, alongside a dual rear camera setup, and a corporal Home button on the front part which is expected to have a fingerprint scanner.
On 15th November, Gionee is expected to launch its two latest flagships like Gionee S9 and S9T. Previously, S9 has been subjective to some major online leaks including the certification leak on TENNA, the Chinese Certification Site.
As per the sources of TENNA, Gionee S9 will be packed with a massive 5.5-inch full HD screen with the display resolution of 1080p. Under the hood, the phone was tipped to be powered by a MediaTek Helio P10 chipset along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
Gionee with its latest S9 is also expected to follow the current trend of dual-camera setup. Gionee S9 is most likely to feature a 13-megapixel selfie camera accompanied by a flash. Similarly, the rear part of the phone will house a dual-camera configuration encompassing a 13-megapixel and 5-megapixel sensors. On the software front, the phone is supposed to run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS along with a 3,000 mAh battery for strong power back-up. Additionally, the live images showed the phone to a physical home button, which will most likely integrate an entrenched fingerprint scanner for better security.
