Gautam Gulati bags the trophy for Big Boss Season 8 tecake

After about 130 days of the contestants entering the Big Boss house, the journey has finally come to an end with Gautam Gulati taking the trophy home. With Karishma Tanna coming in second and Pritam getting the third place. Dimpy Ganguly and Ali Quli Mirza were evicted the day before the grand finale.

The show had a history of women winners for the past few years with Gauhar Khan winning in 2013, Urvashi Dholakia in 2012, Juhi Parmar in 2011 and Shweta Tiwari in 2010. This season also people were anticipating Karishma Tanna to beat the odds and win against the most popular stud in the show, Gautam Gulati but she was disappointed.

Gautam bagged the first position with a huge gap between the first and the second contestant. The reason for Karishma to have got this vast difference between the two might be her relationship with Upen Patel on show and the controversies and fights that followed.

Before the ending, the show has seen quite some ups and downs like Salman Khan bidding goodbye to the show and Farah Khan stepping up to take the place. With the fights, romances, “bromances” and other controversies.

The show’s grand finale was filled with performances by Maliaka Arora Khan and Sonakshi Sinha. Even Rohit Shetty made an entrance for the promotion of his upcoming show, Fear Factor-Khatron Ke Khiladi, which will start in the time slot of Big Boss, the following week.

Gautam won Rs 50 Lakh and the winner’s trophy that he shared with his brother Mohit Gulati by calling him on stage. That displayed the true family bonding of the actor in real life which isn’t easy to fake as his fans call him the most deserving winner of all times.

We would like to wish Gautam Gulati on his success at winning the show and a great career ahead, and we hope to see him do great things in future.
