Datsun Redi-Go first drives review: Find out what’s new

Datsun Redi-Go

Datsun has previously launched its two mid-ranged sedans like Datsun Go and Go+, which are the first launches of the company. Both models were extremely appreciated in the market due to their lavishing features at moderate costs, particularly considering their size and style. Datsun, after this two model launch, became the first option for the tight-budget Indian shopper’s who are seeking for budget cars. But subsequently, with poor structure, and ineffective features have left those two sedans by the wayside, which is something Indians nowadays will just not acknowledge.

After that crash, Datsun truly needs a solid jolt to get back on the market and now with the third edition of Go series, Dastun is gearing up to get back into the Indian marketplace. Named as Datsun Redigo, this new model is recently out on the road with the drive, giving the world few enchanting goals about its structure and function.

What’s new in the mode?

The current aggressive market which is continued to be dominated by the leading cars like Maruti WagonR and Hyundai i10, RediGo no doubt is going to face so much competition in coming days. And may be keeping an eye on this, the designers of Datsun seems to give more focus on refining the style and elegance of the new model. With a light and sensible tailgate, RediGo features a tallboy stance, which is mostly found in Hyundai Santro and Maruti Suzuki WagonR models.

Additionally, the auto also includes a sharp edges and body panels that add more elegance to this new design. The front part gets high-mounted chrome grille up flanked by vast and cleared headlights. The Redi-Go is fueled by a 799cc three-barrel petrol engine that produces 53bhp and a top torque of 72Nm, mated to a five-speed manual gearbox. The little petrol engine is very energetic for city drives.
