Indian smartphone market has accommodated a number of handsets this week, and the recent one is Coolpad Note 5. Today, in an official event, the Chinese conglomerate introduced its latest smartphone Coolpad Note 5 with the price tag of Rs 10,999 in India. Coolpad Note 5 is the new addition to the Note flagship of Coolpad. Accompanying a number of high-end specifications and features along with a reasonable price range, Coolpad Note 5 is expected to acquire a good rank in the competitive Indian market.

However, for now, the mobile will be elusively available on Amazon India and from 18th October, it will go live in various retail stores in all over the country.

Major highlights of Coolpad Note 5:

The dual-SIM phone – Coolpad Note 5 is packed with a 5.5-inch FHD display which is mated on 1920×1080 display resolution with 401ppi pixel density. In addition to this, a 2.5D curved glass is also found in the new cutting-edge handset for better protection of the screen.

Powered by a Qualcomm SD 617 Octa-core processor and an Adreno 405GPU, Coolpad Note 5 features 4GB RAM and 32GB ROM which is further expandable to 64GB via a micro-SD card slot. In camera segment, the phone packs an 18MP rear camera and an 8MP front snapper accompanied by a LED flash. With the power of a 4010 mAh battery, Coolpad Note 5 is claimed to deliver up to 350 hours of standby time.

Weighing 173gms, this dual-SIM phone is enriched with a powerful sensor segment including geomagnetic sensor, proximity sensor, accelerometer, light sensor and fingerprint sensor. Running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with the company’s own Cool UI 8.0 skin, this new handset is expected to create a new milestone for its lower price and excellent specification combo.

Available in two colour variants like royal gold and space gray, Coolpad Note 5 will be exclusively available on Amazon India with the range of Rs. 10,999. The sale process of this phone is slated to commence on 18th October on retail outlets in India.
