After the mixed response from the third-gen Google Pixel 3 and Google Pixel 3 XL which has a mind-blowing camera that was recently used to shoot Eminem’s ‘Venom’ music video on Empire State Building although as a marketing gimmick. Well, if you follow technology news closely, you might know that there was an ‘Ultra Pixel’ model speculated to launch with third-gen Pixel devices. A concept has appeared on YouTube channels named ‘Concept Creator’ and ‘Science and Knowledge’ teasing the upcoming ‘Google Pixel 4 Ultra’ and it’s amazing.
Talking about the concept, the upcoming fourth-gen Pixel smartphone could have a 6.5-inch Infinite P-OLED display with 1440×2960 pixels resolution display with an aspect ratio of 18.5:9 and yes, there’s no notch. In fact, the front side has very thin bezels around the edges and no notch and the front dual-camera setup are arranged in cutouts precisely for the sensors and a front speaker grille.
The smartphone will get Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection tested to withstand multiple drops from a tall height and probably will be IP68 water and dust resistant similar to the third-gen Pixels. The device will have an aluminum frame with front and back glass fused together with its iconic dual-tone back panel but there’s a catch. It could have more than just White, Black, and Gray which is enticing if it actually materializes.
Moving further, the smartphone might have rear dual-camera setup. Yes, you read it right, the Google Pixel 4 Ultra will have two 16MP rear cameras arranged vertically and hopefully, it will retain the majestic camera quality that Pixel 3/3XL have offered. The elegantly designed smartphone will have curved edges as well.
Under the hood, the device will be powered by upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC which is a chipset manufactured using 7nm since the first one to actually roll out with production models is the HiSilicon Kirin 980 that recently launched with Huawei Mate 20-series. Finally, after disappointing masses with a mere 4GB RAM as the base, Google could boost the RAM with 6/8GB storage along with 128GB/256GB internal storage.
Finally, we have no headphone jack according to the concept and there will be a 4,000 mAh Li-Po battery attached to the phone similar to Huawei Mate 20 and Samsung Galaxy Note 9. It will also have fast charging support with Qi-certified wireless charging and that’s pretty much everything we know right now although these are just speculations and not actual specs sheet.
