In a recent bomb blast in Manipur, four people were seriously injured. The explosion took place in a house at Yumnam Khunnou in Imphal West district on Wednesday at 11:30 am. Nearby people took the wounded to a hospital in the local proximity. One of the hospital management officials reported that their condition was serious but for now they are stable.
It is still unclear to police that how the explosion occurred and who are behind it. However, the officials have registered the case and trying to investigate the matter.
Meanwhile, civil and rebel groups demanding to come out strongly against the militant attack at Kasom in Ukhrul district on February 5. One person was killed at the scene while the other one has been severely injured.
However, in another incident People’s Liberation Army accepted that its men have killed one and wounded few others in an attack at Nambasi in Ukhrul district.
In addition, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh willing to visit Manipur and Tripura on Saturday to review the situation in these two border states.
One of the sources reported that he would discuss the law and order situation with the top police, army and paramilitary officials, rather than meeting with the governors and the chief ministers.
