As expected, Apple, on Tuesday launched its long-rumoured MacBook Pro with the slogan of ‘thinnest and lightest’ gadget of the world. Following the media invitation send by the American Conglomerate, market was expecting Apple to launch the revived version of its popular MacBook line-up and bringing all the buzzes to an end, finally, the company introduced the all-new, refreshed line-up of MacBook Pro with some added features like multi-touch display, Magnetic timeline, and upgraded UI. At an official event at Apple’s headquarters in Silicon Valley, the models of MacBook Pro were unveiled alongside an upgraded version of Final Cut Pro X, which is the video editing app for Apple TV, iPhone and iPad.
The new MacBook Pro models were launched accompanying a “retina-quality multi-touch” display which Apple named as ‘Touch Bar’ and it is placed over the keyboard and it replaces the keyboard’s customary function. Along with this, the MacBook line-up is tagged with a jingle of ‘thinnest and lightest’ model because of its slimmer thickness.
As said by Apple’s executive, the new 13-inch MacBook Pro is 14.9 mm thinner which is 17% more slender and 23% less thick than the previous model of MacBook. Apart from this, the 15-inch MacBook Pro is only 15.5 mm skeletal, which is 14% more slim and 20% less thick than of the last release of Apple. In addition to the multi-touch display, MacBook Pro models are enriched with larger Force Touch trackpad and Radeon Pro discrete graphics for a higher graphics performance. However, the official price of the MacBook Model is still undisclosed.
Rolling over to other releases of the day, Apple also revealed a new TV App for its smart TV line-up. Enhanced with Siri technology, the new app will enable the users to browse the live news and other activities across their apps directly. The new app is declared to be compatible with a number of Apple gadgets including AppleTV, iPhones and iPads. With the new features like ‘Watch Now’, ‘Up Next’, ‘Recommended’, ‘Library’, and ‘Store’, the TV App is going to roll out in the market shortly.
Last but not the least, Apple in the event wrapped off the curtain from the upgraded form of its popular video edition app – Final Cut Pro X. After 5 years, the app got an upgrade and will enable users to enjoy redesigned interface, and professional editing capability. An all-new Magnetic Timeline ad upgraded Touch Bar are also added in the Final Cut Pro X which is designed to allow editors enjoy more personalised arrangement and easy colour coding of audio clips based items like dialogue, music and effects. When using Final Cut Pro X app, the integrated Touch Bar will allow the users to enjoy real-time switch between editing tools and adjust the intensity of the audio.
