Apple Inc. is almost ready to launch the previously announced Apple Watch in a special event set to happen on March 9, 2015. The event, without a doubt, will have the Cupertino giant’s very first wearable in the spotlight, however, we believe that it is also going to have some announcements about the well rumored MacBook Air 12.
Apple Inc is going to debut the Watch that was consuming the company’s resources for more than three years. It will have different variants having distinct price tags. According to the official announcement, Apple Watch is expected to come in three variants namely Apple Watch, Watch Sports and Apple Watch Edition.
Apple says that the Watch is “Our most personal device yet.” It can help you track your daily activities, apparently synchronizes well with your iPhone and has almost every feature that one might expect. Apple Watch is an all-day wearable gadget, remains close to your wrist with the changeable straps, and over Wi-Fi with your iPhone to track your fitness, activities and more.
A number of straps to choose from and hundreds of custom clock faces makes it the most customizable wearable backed by the digital crown and iOS specially designed for Watch that makes it easy to operate.
However, reports suggest that Apple Watch is completely going to be different than what we saw during the iPhone 6 duo launch event. Apple is apparently going to shave off the health-related features, including stress monitor. Reports suggest that the Cupertino giant’s engineers had a hard time optimizing the patchy sensors.
With different categories of Apple Watch coming at different price tags, Cupertino giant will probably add more to revenue with the Edition and Apple Watch. The gold edition is expected to dig deeper into the pockets for nearly $5000 (3,10,000 INR).
It is quite evident that the company is making the product step into the class of luxurious products and make it a fashion accessory rather than a fitness wearable. The recent advertisement in the Vogue Paris magazine suggests the path company might be following in the near future.
However, catching on the other lose end, Apple is reportedly launching a newly designed MacBook Air 12. The new design boasts an uni-body that is having a comparatively smaller footprint than the current, it apparently boasts a Retina display but do not have a glowing logo on the back. Reports suggest that it has been removed to obtain the thinnest design possible.
On the other end, the rumored 12-inch MacBook Air will come bundled with Intel Core M Fanless processors along with the next generation USB Type C or USB 3.1 port. Interestingly, Cupertino giant has trimmed down to a headphone jack and USB port in the already port-scarce device.
There isn’t any confirmation about the availability, however, Apple Watch is expected to start at 20,000 INR and MacBook Air 12 for nearly 72,000 INR.
