Apple Inc is in the rumors again to produce an electric vehicle by the end of year 2020.

Several rumors surfacing on the Internet suggest that the company is deploying a massive workforce for the development of its Titan EV project.

Over the last few years, company hired nearly 200 employees from several other firms, including Tesla, to overcome the major design issues. Two people on the basis of anonymity said that the project is still in the prototype phase and will apparently take years to come out.

However, the project does not seem to be fruitful enough, as there is going to be less sale and comparatively less margin what company usually have on selling iPhones.

There are several possibilities that we never see an Apple Car running on roads because if Apple executives don’t find it well designed, the Titan project can be brought to halt at that time.

Besides technical difficulties, Apple Inc is currently at war with the A123 Systems that has filed a lawsuit in Massachusetts federal court against the Cupertino giant. The company in its complaint said that Apple “embarked on an aggressive campaign” in the month June 2014 to poach its employees.

“Upon information and belief, Apple is currently developing a large scale battery division to compete in the very same field as A123,” the lawsuit said.

Most of the employees that Apple hired have come from those which are in the business of automotive and battery design. The Cupertino giant recruited nearly 200 employees from Toyota, Tesla, A123 Systems and more.

Besides the fact that the company has always been interested in manufacturing electric cars, it has also partnered with several other automobile pioneers, including BMW, Mercedes and Ford, for the CarPlay that was launched last year. CarPlay allows you to present your iPhone on the car’s dashboard and offers you a complete set of functionalities including Music, SIRI, and Contacts.
