Android 7.0 Nougat Update to be rolled out for Motorola smartphone lineup

Soon after Google has announced a complete list of Moto smartphones which are scheduled to get Android Nougat 7.0 updates, a prolonged line-up of Motorola has started receiving the OTA update.

The handsets that will be receiving update includes Moto Z, Moto Z play, Moto Z-Droid, Moto Z Force, Moto Z Force Droid, Moto X Play, Moto X Style, and Moto X-Force are enlisted to get the Android 7.0 update later in November of this year. While the next generation of Moto G4 Play and Moto E are listed to be upgraded to the new OS in the early of the next year.

Google has already commenced the official roll out the process of Android 7.0 and Android 7.1 updates, yet there are lots of uncertainties regarding update date for leading brands of smartphones.

To recall, Motorola was one of the first company to endorsed for Android 6.0 Marshmallow for its entitled devices and the Moto G4, and Moto G4 Plus models of this Lenovo-owned company has already started getting Android Nougat 7.0 updates. While other top-of-the-line smartphones are standing in the queue for getting Nougat 7.0, the Motorola Line-up has proved to be lucky enough. Among others, some of the smartphones of Samsung, Nexus, Sony, OnePlus, HTC, LG, Huawei, and Xiaomi have already been accompanied by Android Nougat 7.0 update and this long line-up of Motorola are the later addition to the list.

As per the previous reports given by a spokesperson of Motorola, the Moto Z and Moto G4 series in the beginning of Q4, 2016 had already been enrolled with the updates for Android Nougat 7.0 and Google was reported to shake hand with Lenovo to enlist Motorola phones for new OS update, which it has turned out right.

The Moto G4 series has already got updated OS as promised by Google but the Moto Z series including Moto Z Force, Moto Z, Moto Z-Droid, Moto Z Force Droid, Moto Z Play, and Moto Z Play Droid are still in the pipeline. However, as said by the official of Motorola, all of the above-listed phones are going to be revived with the new OS by the end of this year.

To summon up, Android Nougat 7.0 update is the new OS from Google which was propelled about a month ago. Enriched with state-of-the-art features like Google Assistant, VR interface, multi-window experience, enhanced Java 8 language support, flawless updates, display Zoom, direct reply notifications with bundled facility, Extra power competence, more data saving approach, better file browser, real-time access for applications, App switch, new emojis, and much more.

Android Nougat 7.0 OS was previously seen in Google’s own smartphones like Nexus 6P, Nexus 5X, Nexus 6, Nexus 9, Nexus Player, Android One and Pixel C. But now, the phone has officially been out and soon will be rolled out on Motorola smartphones.
