Amazon India reported that the e-commerce site is providing a ‘Golden Ticket Sale’ for the newly launched Yu Yureka smartphone by the Micromax’s fully-owned subsidiary Yu Televentures.
The sale is hosted for the selected customers who have shown their high interest in purchasing the Yu Yureka. The selection criteria is also bit different as it involves a threshold to which number of attempts a user made to buy the device, however, the threshold amount has been kept secret by the retailer.
Only those users who have registered earlier are eligible for the sale, which start today from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The firm is notifying the eligible customers for the sale through an email.
Users can still register for the sale, and Amazon is expected to ship about 30,000 Yureka units this time.
Previously, Amazon sold nearly 10,000 Yu Yureka smartphones at Amazon.in in just 3 seconds through an online flash sale.
“Thanks for the response. Yureka was stock out in 3 seconds,” official YU account tweeted. At the ending of sale Micromax reported that the next flash sale will resume on January 22, 2015.
With a price tag of Rs. 8,999, YU Yureka is the cheapest 4G smartphone with high tech-specs, it runs on Cyanogen OS 11 based on Android KitKat 4.4.4 supported by 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 615(64-Bit) Octa-core processor coupled with 2GB RAM. For storage, company has provided 16 GB of internal memory expandable up to 32 GB.
The high-performance bar is featured with 5.5-inch (13.97 centimeters) 720×1280 IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It boasts 13MP primary camera with dual LED flash and 5MP front-facing camera, fueled with 2500mAH battery.
