Hamas (Qassam Brigades), which is a military group in Sinai has been banned and tagged as a terrorist group under the allegations that it staged the recent bloodshed in Sinai.
Abdul Fattah al-Sisi who was elected president succeeding Mohammed Morsi, of the Muslim Brotherhood held a meeting in order to take actions after the blood bath in Sinai. He concluded the meeting by deciding to make a new military command for Sinai that will deal with this increasing militant attack rates.
Hamas spokesman Sami Abu Zuhri has refused to accept this decision against Qassam Brigades. He says it’s a political power play that will only be benefitting the Zionist occupation. He also said that Israel’s control over Palestinian territories has made these allegations as they are afraid that they are fighting for the right causes.
Hamas has been held accountable with murdering 33 security guards and wounding some more in the Sinai Peninsula in October 2014 to which the Hamas spokesperson has decided to keep mum. Hamas has also been alleged with smuggling weapons from Gaza to supply military benefits in northern Sinai. Hamas has announced that it will not be taking orders from Egypt anymore and play in the hands of the power players.
All the incidents and killings have been connected with Mohammed Morsi’s, of the Muslim Brotherhood, descend from his presidential position.
Hamas may be saying that what they are doing is for the sake of the country, and its objective is to expose the dirty politicians and bring justice. But is it right to hold such massacres, because those who die are a part of Egypt. They are somebody’s sons and daughters, people with life, hope and expectations.
Hamas may not be a terrorist group or may be, but killing for the sake of justice is just as nonsensical as having war for peace.Tags: Egypt, Hamas, Qassam Brigades, World
