Bangladesh has become a tour of bombings and deaths. In a recent event, a night bus travelling to Dhaka was bombed in which seven people died and more than 16 were severely injured.
This bus has said to have been going without any security backup, even when had been blockades throughout the country due to political upsurges. The attack is said to have been conducted by men hired by former PM Khaleda Zia, who wants the current PM Sheikh Hasina to resign from her post for her to take place.
This attack has been a direct blame to former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia, who recently launched a nationwide transportation blockade to force Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to step down from her position.
The attacks have been growing since beginning of January after the former PM brought the nationwide transportation blockade into effect. More than 50 people have lost their lives because of this political war. Innocent lives are continuously being put in danger, and no one seems to be able to do anything about it.
The government says that it can only provide aid, but cannot find the extremists who are trying to do so, for even if they catch one, a few others come out of nowhere and the attacks continue to terrorize the residents of Bangladesh.
Opposition activists may try to win the seat through such violent acts but how will they keep it. From this attitude, they seem like a bully child who has been denied candy by someone, so he is extorting his way for it. These activists are just looking for their benefit but not at the outcomes of them mercilessly taking innocent lives in the process.
These people who wish to get the seat, need to ask themselves that is it ethical to make a politically high seat that is cushioned on with the blood of innocent lives.
