The Xiaomi Mi Pad, which was earlier launched along with Redmi 2 smartphone is now available for sale in India. The white color variant of the tablet is listed on the Indian e-commerce giant Flipkart with a price tag of Rs. 12,999.

The Xiaomi Mi Pad that sounds like an Apple iPad, comes with 16 GB of internal storage with an expandability option up to 128 GB via a microSD card. The tablet boasts a 7.9-inch Corning Gorilla Glass, IPS LCD with 1536 x 2048 pixels of resolution and 324 ppi of pixel density. The tablet doesn’t have a SIM card slot; thus, only Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac is present as an option for Internet connectivity.

Apart this, the device runs on Android-based MIUI supported by a 2.2 GHz Quad-core Nvidia Tegra K chipset, which is well-known chipset among the gamers, coupled with a 2 GB of RAM. in addition, it is featured with a 8 megapixel of rear image snapper and a 5 megapixel of front webcam. The device is fueled with a  6700 mAh of gigantic battery and measures 202 x 135.4 x 8.5 mm in dimensions and weighs 360 g.
