Harley Davidson, an American motorcycle manufacturer, on Thursday launched three new motorcycles for its Indian Customers. The first in the list is the new performance cruiser ‘2015 Breakout’. It will be launched at a starting price of Rs. 16.28 lakh (ex-showroom New Delhi), which is latest in the Softail family of motorcycles by Harley Davidson.

Breakout will be assembled at its Bawal Plant in Haryana, the company said in a statement. It features a huge 21-inch front wheel, fat 240 section rear tyre and one of the longest wheelbases on any Harley-Davidson.

The second is the Street Glide Special. It is a fully-loaded version of the most popular performance Touring model and features a high output cam 103 powertrain, boom box 6.5 GT infotainment system, batwing fairing, splitstream vent and dual halogen lamps. It has some other special features like  6.5-inch touch screen entertainment system, a high gloss finish for the inside of the ‘batwing’ fairing and a lovely metal flake paint job with some smart pin striping. It is priced at Rs. 29.70 lakh (ex-showroom New Delhi).

The final bike is the one of the big daddies of the Harley range, also one of the most premium bikes in India. It is called CVO, which stands for Custom Vehicle Operations. It comes with one of the largest engines made by Harley – an 1800cc V-twin with both air and oil cooling, called the Twin-Cooled Twin Cam 110. It is priced at Rs 49.24 lakh (ex-showroom New Delhi).

“The motorcycles launched today have always had an incredibly passionate following in India, making this an exciting even for our customer and our company,” Harley-Davidson India Managing Director,Anoop Prakash said in the statement.

Harley-Davidson offers 13 models in India with 15 dealerships across the country and the new bikes will be available for purchase and bookings at dealerships from Thursday.
