Google Now integrates with 40 third party apps tecake

Google Inc. this Friday announced that it had settled agreements with 40 third party apps makers to slurp the relevant information from several apps and display it in the new Now cards. The integration of Google Now with these 40 apps, including Airbnb, Lyft, and eBay, will allow the company to slurp the information for the user. Earlier, users have to open each app separately and look for the relevant information, however, from now on the Now cards will present it to you at the right time.

Google said whether it has to be the last minute flight status, your favorite music or a breaking story, all that information that was living in your app, will now be displayed at a glance. Google Now cards will slurp out the relevant information for you not to do it.

The Internet giant said you could have the latest news from Guardian in the morning and your favorite music from Pandora on your commute — right when you need it.

Google said, “In the morning, catch up on news of the day with cards from The Guardian. On your commute, Pandora can give you recommendations for music to play, based on what you like, or you can be reminded to complete your daily French lesson on Duolingo. During your downtime, you can take care of the groceries, with a card from Instacart reminding you to stock up on the things you often order.”

The company also mentioned that it has teamed up with more than 30 developers to bring these and the other cards. Google said that it will continue rolling news cards over the period of next few weeks, and asked its users to update to the latest Google app.

Apparently, this new update will enable its users to have information before they may even ask for it.
