Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Gionee is again in trends by announcing its new dual display android device, Gionee W900 in its home country, China. According to reports, the company is going to unveil the device next week. The smartphone is quite similar to the Samsung’s latest Android clamshell smartphone.
Gionee W900 is featured with dual 4-inch HD AMOLED display, one on each side of the lid, passed through TENAA in China. The device runs on Android 4.4.4 KitKat operating system supported by 1.5 GHz quad-core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory, which is fueled with a 2500 mAh battery. Moreover, it is bundeled with 13MP primary camera with autofocus and LED flash, and a 5MP front facing camera.
For Chinese users, Gionee is providing LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, microUSB 2.0 and GPS with A-GPS, for connectivity options. Talking about phone’s size, it sports dimensions of 126.5×62.6×14.8mm and weighs 172 grams.
A Gionee’s spokesperson said that the company is looking forward to launching the device in Indian smartphone market, in early next year. However, he does not disclose the price yet.
