Android Nougat expects to come on smartphones after the Google final release

Running a smartphone on latest flavour of Android is becoming a trend among freaks. The last Android version, Marshmallow is not yet running on majority of handsets, however, people have started seeking for Android 7.0 Nougat update. As compared to the Marshmallow roll out, the Nougat update is little slow and wouldn’t be available as an OTA update for majority of recently launched smartphones.

If you are owning a Nexus or a Motorola device (list provided later in this article) then you will be getting the OTA update, while, owners of Moto G3, Moto E3 power must not wait for such update as the company has ditched these devices.

Android 7.0 Nougat is the most highlighted and awaited Android OS update of the current year. After Google introducing the new Android 7.0 Nougat in August 2016, the waves of leaks and buzzes have kept on surrounding it. While Google started rolling out the new OS in its own brand smartphone Pixel and Nexus, other smartphone companies were still in the queue to grab the upgraded OS.

Nexus branded phones with Nougat

Users will get Android Nougat update similar to that of Nexus 6P, Nexus 5X, and Nexus 9 LTE. In the upcoming days, you can expect the same kind of update for Nexus 6, Pixel C including Nexus Player.

Android 7.0 Nougat update will roll out for these LG phones:

Apart from the Nexus 5X, LG is likely to update its current flagship smartphone and the last year’s variant LG G4. No other devices can be confirmed now, but it might be added to the list later.

HTC Smartphones to receive the Android 7.0 Nougat update:

HTC confirmed that the high-end HTC smartphones would be getting the update to the latest Android software. The entire list of devices from the manufacturer was not given, but they confirmed a couple of devices which will be getting the update. HTC may take even a few months after the public launch of Android Nougat before it brings the updates to these three phones.

Android 7.0 Nougat OTA update to be rolled out for Sony handsets

The first appearance of this latest OS was found in Nexus 6P, and 5X smartphones of Google trailed by a couple of specific HTC gadgets. While the whole world is craving to get Android Nougat upgrade in their mobile, Google is accounted for to benefit another line-up of smartphones of Sony to get the new Android 7.0 Nougat update.

Sony confirmed the Android 7.0 Nougat update for a bunch of it’s devices on Z series. We expect them to update other devices also but as of now, we have confirmation on these devices.

Motorola phones to get Android 7.0 Nougat Update

Back in September, Lenovo, the parental company of Motorola announced its Moto Z lineup and the Moto G4 to receive the latest Android 7.0 Nougat update in Quarter 4 of this year and now the company had published a complete list of its smartphone portfolio which are selected to get Android 7.0 Nougat update. Though no particular date for the roll out of Nougat 7.0 on Moto devices has yet been announced, the tech gurus are suggested it kick off soon.

The line-up of 14 Moto smartphones to get new Android updated OS includes a major number of 2016-released handsets while the number of older models is comparatively small.

The list announced by Lenovo to get Android Nougat 7.0 includes 14 smartphones from the line-up of Motorola and it counts:

Samsung handsets to get the Android 7.0 Nougat update:

Samsung hasn’t confirmed the update for the next Android version for any of its devices, but we are confident that the company will definitely update its current flagship smartphones.
