Microsoft unveils Word Flow keyboard to ennhace single hand typing experience

For the first time ever researchers have developed a curved keyboard to enhance the single hand typing experience. Software major Microsoft has unveiled a new keyboard app for iOS devices which will enable iPhone users to type with one hand. Researchers at Redmund giant were working on the keyboard that could be operated with single hand easily using just one thumb and now, years of research has led to the development of curved design of the keyboard.

Curved design has reduced the space between the keys and has made it more feasible for the thumb to reach the extreme corners without laying much effort and taking much pain.

Named as Word Flow, the snazzy keyboard also has predictive texts to give useful suggestions to people to enhance the typing experience. In addition, people can swipe across the keyboard instead of tapping single keys which is also a valuable feature.

Although, the keyboard is different and unique, but at the first glance, it looks more of a gimmick than an actual aider to the typing experience. People will find it tough to adjust to the new layout of the keyboard.

Recently, Redmond Giant also released another keyboard app named Hub this month. Hub was designed to improve the multitasking experience of the users.
