Samsung is going to launch its much-anticipated Galaxy S8 next year, and the rumours about the designing and configuration of the phone are numerous. And, a recently sourced leak has confirmed Samsung Galaxy S8 to bear an all-screen design. If the reports are believed to be true, the bezel-less display will revitalise the same boring patterns of Samsung Galaxy flagship. However, surprisingly, the South Korean Giant is also said to ditch the iconic Home Button and Headphone Jack with the new model.
To recall, Apple is also rumoured to bring the bezel-less design with its upcoming iPhone 8 next year. If it happens, the market will witness the grand crash between two same design and highly priced handsets in 2017. While Samsung is expected to launch its Galaxy S8 in March 2017 at MWC event, Apple iPhone 8 is supposed to hit the market in September of the same year. However, some latest reports are suggesting the launch event of Galaxy S8 push to April.
Among other most highlighted specs, Galaxy S8 is expected to arrive with 5.7 inches Super AMOLED screen (1440 x 2560 pixels), Android 7.0 Nougat OS, Qualcomm Snapdragon 830 processor, 6GB RAM, 64/128 GB ROM (expandable up to 256GB), Iris scanner, fingerprint sensor, and Fast battery charging technology.
After the disaster of Galaxy Note 7, Samsung now actually needs a robust model which can strengthen its downing market position. Since the demise of Note 7, the South Korean Company is going under pressure from the Chinese brands as well as Apple. The launch of Galaxy S8 with the all-new All-Display design, no home button, and audio jack will make it stand as a strong contender to the same-aged models like iPhone 8. However, Samsung is yet to confirm this news officially.
The patterns for designing and development smartphones are subjective to change, and we all know that. From small screen and VGA-camera to the massive 5.7-inch screen and dual-camera setup, we have come a long way in witnessing new forms and designs for mobile phones. All most every leading brand is looking forward to new patterns and Samsung is no doubt one of them.
