Samsung has finally unleashed the new phone; of dual sim facility priced at Rs 51,400 with 32 GB and 64 GB inbuilt memory capacities. It has been described as the ‘most powerful and dynamic Galaxy yet’.
The Galaxy Note 5 has borrowed its design ideas from Samsung’s other flagship line, the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 Edge. The S-Pen Stylus is again a big yes in the Note 5. There’s an added feature of a new push-to-eject device, making it easier to remove the stylus. The Galaxy Note 5 Dual SIM features a 5.7-inch QHD (1440×2560 pixels) Super-AMOLED display with a pixel density of 515ppi.
On the photography and camera levels, Samsung Galaxy Note 5 presents a 16- megapixel rear camera with f/1.9 aperture, optical image stabilization, autofocus and LED flash in addition to a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and for dual video calling support.
The device is powered by 2.1GHz 64-bit octa-core Exynos 7420 SoC coupled with 4GB LPDDR4 RAM. It is fueled with 3000 mAh non-removable battery that offers amazing battery backup of at least 22 hours of talk time and up to 64 hours of music playback time.
Interestingly, this phablet is equipped with wireless charging technology and connectivity, S-Voice natural language commands and noise cancelling microphone. It also has Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC and USB host.
On the software zone, it runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, wrapped under a refreshed TouchWiz UI. It is also due to get Android 6.0 Marshmallow update in the coming months. The Note 5 dual-SIM can be purchased from the Samsung India e-store in 3 color options- Black Sapphire, Silver Titanium and Gold Platinum. Also, the single-SIM 32GB and 64GB variants are priced at Rs 47,900 and Rs 54,545, respectively.
