Aiming at the festive season, Panasonic India has unveiled its two mobile phones, P50 idol and P65 Flash in the Indian smartphone market. Panasonic is expecting that these two mobiles will be liked by users and will be “ideal gifting purchases”.

Users can store up to 8 GB of movies, apps, videos, music, etc. to its internal storage, while up to 32GB of data can be stored in an external microSD card. The newly-launched Panasonic dual-SIM handsets flaunts an 8-megapixel of rear camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel of front-facing camera that make users more comfortable in taking selfies.
On connectivity front, P50 idol and P65 Flash supports 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/A-GPS, micro-USB and Bluetooth.
The Panasonic P50 Idol comes with a 5-inch HD IPS display with 720×1280 pixels of resolution and a 2150 mAh of battery. It measures 142×71.5×8.7mm in dimensions and weighs 139 grams. It measures 151×77.8×8.95mm in dimensions, weighs 168 grams and fueled with a 2910 mAh of battery. The handset will be available is silver and gold color variants.
Commenting on the launch, Pankaj Rana, Business Head of Mobility Division, Panasonic India said that the company is currently offering 30 smartphones to the Indian mobile market, including the newly released, P50 Idol and P65 Flash at reasonable prices. He further added that consumers can purchase a handset for themselves or to gift it thier loved ones on this festive season.
The new release from Panasonic might have to face a tough competition in the market as currently other smartphone makers are offering 4G handsets below this price range such as Yu Yunique and Moto E 2nd Gen. The key specifications aren’t much highlighting so that it could attract the users. The processor and RAM combo will help in running light apps smoothly on the devices, however, it might get lagging problems in heavy multitasking, which can also be counted as a negative point. The only reason to pick the handset is its premium looks and design that could catch customers’ eyes.
