The electronic goods manufacturer, Panasonic has launched its new smartphone, Eluga Switch in the market. The device comes with a price tag of Rs. 19,990 in Gun Metal Grey, single color option. It will go on sale exclusively at Amazon.in.
“The Eluga Switch does exactly what it was imagined to do, offer two vertical screen orientations in one handheld device,” Pankaj Rana, Business Head, Mobility Division, Panasonic India said on the launch of the Panasonic Eluga Switch. “A user can effortlessly ‘switch’ between an upright and inverted smartphone. The Switch is the epitome of consumer preferences, designed by keeping into consideration extensive customer feedback and expert technology.”
The Panasonic Eluga Switch is fronted with a 5.5-inch full-HD reversible display, which orients the display to face the user, even when held upside down.The display comes with 1080 x 1920 pixels of resolution, Asahi Dragon Trail Glass and Oleophobic Coating that makes it scratch-free. The front panel also boasts an 8 megapixel of user-facing camera. Meanwhile, a 13-megapixel of primary image shooting tool with LED flash has been placed over the leaf. It sports a 2910 mAh of battery, under the hood.
The Android 5.0 Lollipop-based smartphone is powered by a 1.5GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor that is coupled with a 2GB of RAM. The handset includes an internal storage of 32GB, however, it is not featured with a microSD card slot.
On connectivity front, the Panasonic Eluga Switch includes 3G, USB OTG, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/ A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.1, Android Beam, NFC and 4G LTE as options.In additional features, the company has added JBL-powered 1.2W dual front speakers with Hi-Fi Sound and 3D audio. The firm is also offering JBL headsets with the device.
The smartphone also offers dual front and mic to the users, which allows them to use the device any side you want. It makes you enable to no longer have to worry about the ‘right way’ of holding the phone.
