As per the earlier announcement from the mobile manufacturing startup, OnePlus has revealed that the VR headset, OnePlus Cardboard for the unique ‘VR launch’ of OnePlus Two forthcoming smartphone will be available in India in third week of July on amazon.in.
The firm has priced the Cardboard at Rs. 99, excluding the shipping cost. Though the firm has offered its users to avail the device for free by simply participating and winning an ongoing contest by signing up at the e-commerce website. 1000 winners. The contest was ended on July 3.

The post further stated, “The OnePlus Cardboard meets the latest norms and specs that were unveiled at Google I/O this year. Besides, in typical OnePlus fashion, we didn’t just sit around and talk about how it could be better; we made our own. In addition to the Cardboard 2.0 features, we’ve made a few more improvements.”
The firm has added an exclusive web page for the Cardboard VR Headset, which provides detailed information about the headset to the users.
Previously, the company has revealed that the device will boast a USB Type-C port. Making the announcement on social networking handles, the company spokesperson posted, “Our second spec revealed: The OnePlus2 will be the first flagship smartphone to use the latest Type C USB. We want to lead the way in power connectivity.”
The USB Type-C cable is a reversible cable so the user doesn’t need to check which side of the connector is up while inserting it. The Type-C port also allows file transfer with high speeds (up to 10 Gbps) and allows the smartphone to charge faster.
Earlier, leaks were surfacing on the Internet suggesting the specifications and Benchmark Tests for the OnePlus Two smartphone. The leaks reveal that the smartphone will boast a Snapdragon 810 Octa Core processor running on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS. However, the smartphone may be running on the company’s latest OxygenOS, which is based on the Androids Lollipop flavor.
Also, the Geekbench Benchmark test was spotted for a device, OnePlus One A2001 that includes 2777 MB of RAM. The Benchmark Test suggests that the upcoming device will carry a 64-bit 1.55GHz octa core chipset coupled with 3 GB of RAM. Moreover, the device scored 1256 points for single-core and 4093 points for multi-core.
According to a report from GizChina, the CEO of the firm has reported that the next device from the OnePlus will come with Snapdragon 810 processor and will be launched in Q3, this year.
