Microsoft unveiled its most affordable feature phone Nokia 215 in India. The phone is expected to attract the consumers who have a very tight budget and are willing to have a phone that is durable and last longing.
The feature phone is available for sale at the company’s official online store and within few days it will go on sale at different local and online stores spread across the entire country.
The dual SIM Nokia 215 will be available in black, green, and white color variants with a nominal price tag of Rs 2,149. It boasts a 2.5 inch screen and a traditional alpha-numeric keypad. Moreover, it supports 2G GPRS and EDGE data networks.
The device comes pre-installed with Opera Mini browser, Bing search, MSN Weather, Twitter, and Facebook out of the box.
It is also featured with push notification services and an inbuilt flashlight. The device is fueled with an 1100 mAh of battery that delivers 20 hours of talk time and up to 21 days of standby. It measures 116 x 50 x 12.9 mm and weighs 78.6 g.
The Redmond giant reported that the company is still using the Nokia branding on the phone because the users in Indian rural areas have blind trust on Nokia’s handset, which in-turn can help the company boost its sales.
