After introducing the Moto X Play and Moto G 3rd Gen. in India, the Lenovo-owned Motorola Mobility has confirmed that it is soon going to launch its Moto X Style in the Indian smartphone market. Answering a huge amount of queries the company’s Indian Twitter handle has confirmed that its ‘mid-ranged flagship’ smartphone will be “releasing soon in India”. It is expected that purchase of Moto X Syle smartphone will be value for money like its previously launched handsets across the country.
The launch got an another hint by the firm as it invites for a press event in New Delhi at 12:00 PM on the same day.
Later, the exclusive retail partner, Flipkart has teased its fans for the upcoming device and announced that it will be available for sale from Thursday onwards. The e-commerce giant has managed a dedicated web page on the website which states, “Get ready to party in 15 minutes flat with the Moto X Style on the 8th of October, 2015!”
The availability details aren’t revealed yet, however, the interested users can leave their email ID at the page to get notified with any update. Earlier, the firm has unveiled a Moto X Style online promotion contest, #beautility. It promised that the winner will be awarded a smartphone as a prize.
The Moto X style comes in 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB storage variants and all for them supports external media storage via a microSD card. It features a 5.7-inch QHD display with 1440×2560 pixels of resolution and sports a 21-megapixel image capturing solution with f/2.0 aperture and dual CCT flash aperture; and a 5-megapixel of selfie shooter with an 87-degree wide-angle lens.
The headset runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop supported by a 1.8GHz Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 808 hexa-core processor that is coupled with a 3GB of RAM. Motorola’s own apps, Moto Assist, Moto Display, and Moto Voice comes pre-installed on it.
The company claims that 3000mAh battery bundled with the handset offers a power backup up to 30 hours on standard usage, after getting it fully charge. Also, the Motorola’s TurboPower 25 feature allows the device to charge faster as compared to the other smartphones. It also comes with a water-repellent nano-coating (IP52 certified). On the connectivity front, the Moto X Style supports 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi as options.
