Just two days after launching powerful, Droid Turbo 2 smartphone, Motorola revealed that it is going to launch the handset in other regions with a different name, Moto X Force. The device will be featured with respective local connectivity measures. It is likely to be unveiled in Africa, Asia- Pacific, Europe, the Middle East, and the Latin America in November.
It is assumed that launching the handset in November will be a safe bet as its predecessor, Moto Maxx was also launched during the same period, last year. After observing the US-based prices, the 32GB variant is priced at $624 or roughly Rs. 41,000 and the 62GB variant is available for 47,000 bucks or $720, Indian smartphone analysts are expecting that both of the variants will debut with pricetags between Rs. 45,000 and Rs. 55,000.
The highlighting feature of the phone is its shatterproof screen, also known as ‘Shatter-shield’. The company claims that its sturdy and durable display won’t break easily and resistive towards dust and splashes, thanks to the Nano coating.
The phone is fronted with a 5.4-inch screen panel, which boasts Quad HD or 2560 x 1440 pixels of resolution and 544 pixels per inch of pixel density. Looking at the price, this was essential to prove its worth or it would be submerged in the competition where phones with an equivalent screen are available at cheaper prices.
The Moto X Force hosts a beast under the hood, 2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor 810 with a super powerful 3 GB RAM. The phone would have either 32 or 64 GB as per the variant you choose, but the external memory can be expanded up to a whopping 2 TB. The phone is fueled with a 3,760 mAh battery. The features seem to be in resemblance to the price and they are very good to consider if you have the budget. However, the external storage option of two TB seems useless as of now as the SD cards are only available up to 128 GB.
The handset comes with 21-megapixel of primary camera and features a 5-megapixel of front-facing selfie shooter. This would surely be a disappointment for selfie lovers as they would expect at least a 13 MP front shooter at such a high price and 5 MP is just available in the phones of Rs. 10000.
Besides normal features like 4G, Wi- Fi, etc. the phone has the modern age Turbocharger that can charge a phone that would last for 13 hours in just 15 minutes of time. The phone runs on the lollipop version 5.1.1 and a marshmallow update is soon expected. The phone seems like a powered up version of Moto X Style but the price is very high. As per the device’s specifications, one would not spend a magnanimous Rs. 40K on this smartphone and the deal does not seem best buy for the price range. It would be rated at 3.5/5.
Stay tuned to get further updates on official launch and pricing details.
