Moto 360 2nd Gen smartwatch - The TeCake
The Moto 360 2nd Gen. is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor clubbed with Adreno 306 GPU and 512MB of RAM. Running on Google Android Wear OS, out-of-the-box, the smartwatch offers 4GB of internal storage.

Soon after the international launch of Moto 360 2nd Gen smartwatch, Motorola Mobility, Lenovo-owned company has unveiled the wearable gadget in India. Indian customers can get the smartwatch on their wrists at a starting price of Rs. 19,999. Like the other products from the company, the watch is also exclusively available on the online retail store, Flipkart and this time at Myntra as well!

The smartwatch was first introduced back in September, globally. It features a traditional round watch face with a jarring flat tire at the bottom of it, which boasts an ambient light sensor and helps it achieve a slim bezel-frame. Besides this, the manufacturer has pushed the crown button towards the 2 o’clock pointer and the lugs are now placed at the outside of the case, which help in an easy swapping of the bands.

For a better durability, Motorola has protected the front of the gadget with a Corning Gorilla Glass. While, sporting the features the back of the watch houses a heart-rate sensor. In addition, the water resistant watch comes with IP7 certification that makes its resistant from accidental spillage or rain.

The Moto 360 2nd Gen comes in tow size variants- 42mm and 46mm. Both of the variants support 20mm and 22mm watch bands. The 42mm case variant comes with a 1.37-inch screen 360 x 325 pixels of resolution, which can be used with a thinner 16mm bands designed exclusively for women. While the 46mm case features a 1.56-inch display with 360 x 330 pixels of resolution.

On connectivity front, the device comes with several standard options including, Bluetooth 4.0 LE and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g. The new Moto 360 comes with an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope and optical heart rate monitor (PPG), fitted with a vibration and haptics engine onboard. In addition, the basic functionality includes accessing quick notifications and health and fitness tracking.

With wireless charging support, the 42mm variant of the Moto 360 2nd gen comes with a 300mAh battery, while the 46mm variant uses a larger 400mAh battery.
