Like other smartphone manufacturers, the leading software developing company, Microsoft is set to launch its range of flagship Lumia handsets for the year 2015.
A report from Windows Central reveals that the Redmond giant will unveil two of its Lumia Windows 10 Mobile running smartphones, Lumia 950 and Lumia 950XL, this year. These devices have been codenamed Talkman and Cityman, respectively. It is said that the smartphones will be launched at IFA conference in Berlin in early September.
Earlier, it was rumored that Microsoft will unveil Lumia 940 in 2015 as the last year’s flagship device was Lumia 930. “Many have referred to these devices as the Lumia 940 and Lumia 940 XL, however, Microsoft is considering jumping a model number and calling them the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL,” report says. “The name change will be decided by September.” This isn’t the first time as Microsoft had jumped a model number in the past while naming Windows 10 instead of Windows 9 according to nomenclature.
