The domestic manufacturer, Lenovo has announced its new device, Lenovo Phab Plus its the home country, China with a price tag of CNY 2,599(~Rs. 27,000). It will be available for sale at China Mobile, China Telecom, and China Unicom telecom providers in the country.
As the name describes, the device is featured with a large display, it boasts a 6.8-inch full-HD display panel with 1080 x 1920 pixels of resolution and 326ppi of pixel density, which might be the highlight ever seen on a smart device. Running on Vibe UI based on Android 5.0 Lollipop, the handset is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor coupled with a 2GB of RAM. The Dolby Atmos Surround Sound is said to provide amazing clear audio.
The dual-SIM smartphone is equipped with a 13-megapixel of primary image capturing tool with dual LED flash and a 5-megapixel of user-facing selfie shooter. It comes with a 32 GB of internal storage that can be expanded via microSD card.
On connectivity front, the Phab Plus comes with 4G, 3G, GPS / A-GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Micro-USB, as options. Also, the 3500 mAh of battery, bundled in the device is claimed to offer p to 24 hours of talk time and up to 350 hours of standby time, by the company.
It measures 7.6mm thin and weighs 220 grams.
The handset comes in Metallic Gray, Midnight Blue, Neon Pink and Elegant Silver platinum colour variants. However, the launching details for Indian specific device didn’t reveal yet, by the company.
Besides this, Lenovo is planning to merge its mobile unit to its subsidiary Motorola. As per the reports, the firm will run its mobile unit and Motorola as a single entity, worldwide. Currently, the organizational reconstruction is in progress and it is being expected that the current president of Motorola Mobility, Rick Osterloh will be the responsible person for the both of the smartphone making brands.
