As The TeCake earlier reported, the Lenovo Phab 2 Plus smartphone has launched in India today at Amazon India. The handset is available for sale on the website from today 1PM IST at a price of Rs. 14,999 in Champagne Gold and Gunmetal Grey colour variants.
The USP of the Phab 2 smartphone is its fingerprint reader, which is paired with a couple of 13-megapixel dual cameras at the rear, which comes featured with dual-LED Flash, PDAF, laser autofocus, f/2.0 aperture, Fujitsu Milbeaut ISPs, and 1.34-micron pixels. Meanwhile, the smartphone sports an 8-megapixel of selfie shooter f/2.2 aperture and 1.4-micron pixels, which is co-fronted with a 6.4-inch FHD 2.5D curved glass display. The handset is packed with a gigantic 4050mAh battery.
The Lenovo’s new smartphone runs on Vibe UI which is based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. And it is powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek MT8783 octa-core processor with MaliT720 GPU and 3GB RAM. The handset is also featured with 32GB of internal storage that can be expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card.
As far connectivity is concerned, the Lenovo Phab 2 Plus offers 4G LTE (with support for Indian bands), Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS connectivity options. On board sensors include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and magnetometer. The device measures 174x88x5.5mm, and weighs in at 218 grams.
