Just after unveiling the Vibe K4 Note, Lenovo launched its K5 Note smartphone in China with a price tag of CNY 1,099(~Rs. 11,350). The company revealed that the handset will be up on sale via flash sale model within the domestic country, as of now.
It is expected that Lenovo would soon launch the same in the Indian smartphone market as well. And the handset is also compatible with India’s LTE bands, which hints that the company has already planned to launch the handset in India. However, Lenovo didn’t utter a single word regarding the launch of K5 Note smartphone outside of China.
With the new improved all-metal body, the smartphone is featured with a fingerprint scanner, which is placed below the pair of 13-megapixel of primary image snapping tool with PDAF autofocus, an f/2.2 aperture and dual-tone LED flash; at the back panel. Though a similar sensor and Dolby Atmos-powered speakers were found on K4 Note as well.
The official web listing of the handset confirms that it runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop-based Vibe UI on top, which is powered by a 1.8 GHz 64-bit octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 processor bundled with Mali-T860 GPU and 2GB of RAM. For storage media, the smartphone comes with an onboard storage facility of 16GB that could be expandable up to 128GB by using microSD card.
The dual-SIM K5 Note by Lenovo flaunts a 5.5-inch full-HD IPS display that delivers 1080×1920 pixels of resolution and placed right below the 8-megapixel of user-facing camera placed at the front panel. The device is fueled with a 3500 mAh of battery
On connectivity front, the smartphone comes with 4G LTE, GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, Micro-USB, and FM radio. The K5 Note smartphone sports a digital compass, accelerometer, proximity, and ambient light sensors.
