Another month and another smartphone maker have joined the foray of flash sales, the latest one being the Chinese electronics firm LeEco. On Tuesday, LeEco has sold out 70,000 units of the Le 1s at a subsidised rate of Rs 10,999 for 32GB variant within 2 sec. The next sale will take place on February 9.
Before the commencement of the sale, Atul Jain, Chief Operating Officer, Le Ecosystem Technology India told, “We are working on whole Internet eco-system and not just devices. We will open the sale of Le 1s for Rs 10,999 on Flipkart from Tuesday onwards and customers purchasing it using Axis Bank card will get it for Rs 9,899.”
LeEco has already recorded up to 5 lakh registrations, setting an all-time high registration on Flipkart. The company had also announced that over the first 5 days, the Le 1s alone had notched up 3 lakh pre-sale registrations as well.

“The brand Le 1s opened with a bang notching up 1,00,000 registrations within a few hours of the launch. We are delighted that the numbers have crossed previous records to touch over 5,50,000 in just 10 days,” Flipkart Chief Business Officer Ankit Nagori said.
The Le 1s features a 5.5-inch full high definition display and is powered by a 64-bit octa-core processor coupled with 3GB RAM. The device sports a 13-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel wide-angle selfie camera.
The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop based company’s homegrown custom eUi and comes with a 32GB internal storage. The Le 1s is backed by a 3,000 mAh battery with fast charging support claiming that a 5-minute quick charge can sustain a 3.5 hour talk time.
The Le 1s comes with a metallic body and features the world’s first mirror-surfaced fingerprint scanner with 0.15 second unlock speed and 99.3 percent accuracy.
The actual cost of the components used for making the LeEco Le 1s smartphone is Rs 16,042.
