Soon after launching in the home country, LeEco has launched its Le 2 and Le Max 2 smartphones in India. The company had earlier sent out invites for the launch event of the same. The former smartphone has been priced at Rs. 11,999, while the latter, which comes in two variants, with 4GB RAM and 6GB RAM, carry a price tag of Rs. 22,999 and Rs. 29,999, respectively. All of the handsets come with a one-year subscription of LeEco content.
With the launch of handsets, LeEco announced its Premium membership experience, which will enable the users to get access to exclusive discount, 5TB LeEco drive Storage, premium identity, after-sales support, exclusive special events. The Le Max 2 smartphone will be available for sale on June 28, and registrations for the same will be open from June 20.
Both of the smartphones run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow-based Emotion UI 5.8 skin on prime. They also show similarity in several hardware features as well, such as fingerprint scanner at the back and a USB Type-C port at the bottom.
In addition, the smartphones didn’t pack with a 3.5 mm audio jack, and for the audio connectivity, the manufacturer has provided earphones with USB Type-C along with the smartphones. The company claims that their newly introduced ‘Type-C Audio’ interface delivers high isolation.Each pair of the earphones comes with a unique ID and gives recommendations to users. LeEco also announced the CDLA Continual Digital Lossless Audio standard and the world’s first CDLA Type C audio headphones that deliver lossless audio for Rs 1,990.

LeEco Le 2
The successor of the Le 1s, Le 2 smartphone also comes in Rose Gold color. It flaunts a 5.5-inch Full HD in-cell display, a 1.8GHz deca-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor in conjunction with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of eMMC 5.1 storage.
On photography front, the smartphone features a 16-megapixel of primary image snapping tool with PDAF. While, it sports an 8-megapixel of user-facing secondary image shooter. Other features include a 3000mAh battery and 4G LTE support.
LeEco Le Max 2
On the other hand, the flagship handset, Le Max 2 comes in two variants as above mentioned. It features a 5.7-inch QHD bezel-less display, a 2.15Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 64-bit quad-core processor with an Adreno 530 GPU. The manufacturer provides 64GB of built-in storage to the device, a 21MP of rear camera and an 8MP of front-facing camera.
The LeEco Le Max 2 also boasts Qualcomm Sense ID fingerprint scanner with ultrasonic technology that lets it read fingerprints with grease and dust accurately. It is a fueled with a 3100mAh battery and support for 4G LTE connectivity.
