Kingston HyperX Cloud Drone - The Te Cake

The flash memory manufacturer, Kingston has added a new device, HyperX Cloud Drone in its headphone portfolio. The company has announced that the headphones will be available to purchase in India at Rs. 3,999 via local and online retailers, starting this week.

Kingston claims that its HyperX Cloud Drone is the lightest sound hearing device with a weight tag of 220g. It further said that the headphones are mainly targetted to the gamers, those who uses such gadgets for a long period of time. To extend the comfort level, it is packed with over-the-ear cups fitted with leatherette memory foam on-the-ear cushions.

Out-of-the-box, users will also get 40mm of directional drivers that could be placed parallel to the ears, which enables the music to directly pour into the user’s ears. It also enhances the audio precision and gaming-grade sound quality. The manufacturer further claims that the connecting cable is tangle resistant that will provide a hassle-free experience to the user.

Also, the microphone embedded with the headset can also be used as ‘swivel-to-mute noise cancellation microphone’ to cut short the background noise and enhance the voice clarity. All they have to do is just  move the unit vertically against the headphones to silence it.

As per the TeamSpeak certification, the HyperX Cloud Drone is optimised for chat tools like Skype, Discord, Mumble, Raidcall and Ventrilo.

Moreover, the right ear cup of headphones is equipped with an inbuilt volume control dial. Talking in-depth of specs, the headset sports a frequency response of 20Hz to 20000Hz and an impedance of 24 ohms. It’s compatible with various platforms such as PC, handsets, PS4, Mac, Wii U and Xbox One.

Currently, the Kingston HyperX Cloud Drone gaming headphones are listed at Amazon India at a price of Rs. 3049.
