The Indian origin, smartphone making company, Karbonn Mobiles has launched a new device, Quattro L50 HD in the Indian Smartphone Market. With the launch of Quattro L50 HD, Karbonn has added a new phablet in its ‘quattro’ series of handsets.
The smartphone flaunts a 5 inch HD IPS display offering 720×1280 pixels of resolution. The dual-SIM smartphone that runs on Kandy UIv1.0 based on Android 5.1 Lollipop. Quattro is powered with a 1.3GHz quad-core Soc teamed up with a 2GB RAM. The handset has 16GB of inbuilt storage that could be expandable via microSD card, up to 32GB.
On photography front, Karbonn Quattro L50 HD features a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, and 5-megapixel front facing camera, which is featured by phase detection autofocus, Blue Glass filter with LED flash. The smartphone supports features like 4G LTE network, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, and micro USB.
Kandy UI has the following features:
• One swipe access to phone dialler, contacts and messages.
• More controls for data usage, private information, battery, notifications and power usage.
• It has gesture features for quick access to frequently used functions.
• Themes to customise the device.
• Has an option of 10 languages and upto 21 local Indian languages for keyboard input.
The handset also provides sensors like Proximity sensor, Ambient light sensor. It comes with 2600 mAh Li-Po battery, which delivers up to 200 hrs of standby, 8 hrs of 2G/3G talk time, and 4 hrs of 4G talk time. It weighs 134g.
The Karbonn Quattro L50 HD is currently listed in Coffee, Blue and Grey color variants on Amazon India at a price of Rs 7,949. However, the pricing details were missing on the company’s official web listing.
