Intex Aqua Y4 Featured TeCake

The Indian electronics manufacturer, Intex Technologies has unveiled its Aqua y4 smartphone on Thursday. The handset is priced at Rs. 4,190.

Commenting on the launch, Sanjay Kumar Kalirona, Mobile Business Head, Intex Technologies said, “At Intex we believe in revolutionising a feature rich experience for our customers such that our offerings become a seamless mix of technology at the right price. The Aqua Y4 is the perfect example of designing devices keeping the consumer in mind, even the slightest of convenience of the user is kept in mind while making this new offering.”

The new budget smartphone from Intex runs on Android 4.4.2 Kitkat supported by a 1GHz dual-core MediaTek (MT6572X) processor that is coupled with a 512 MB of RAM. The manufacturer has provided 4 GB of internal storage to the mobile phone that can be expandable up to 32 GB via a microSD card.

It comes wit popular apps like Ask Me, Quikr, Newshunt, Clean Master, Myntra, Start, Intex service, and Opera Mini, pre-installed on it.

The 2-megapixel of front facing camera bundled with the handset is claimed to be the best selfie shooter in the smartphones under the range on Rs 5000 and below. Meanwhile, the 5-megapixel of primary image snapper is featured with an LED flash.

The handset measuring 136×67.5×8.7mm in dimensions features a 4.5-inch FWVGA IPS display with 480×854 pixels of resolution; and fueled with 1700 mAh of battery. It offers 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth as connectivity options.

The Intex Aqua Y4 will be available for sale on several e-commerce websites and local retail stores as well, in White, Black, Champagne and Silver colors variants.
